Dublin Honey: A Boozy Milkshake

Stout and chocolate are a match made in milkshake heaven.

San Francisco’s Ice Cream Bar adds some stoutly suds to this decadent boozy milkshake.


  • 5 oz. Guinness stout
  • 2 small scoops caramelized-honey ice cream (or sub in vanilla and drizzle with honey)
  • 1 oz. chocolate syrup
  • ½ oz. tawny port
  • Tools:spoon
  • Glass:parfait
  • Garnish:chocolate


Start by pouring 2 oz. of Guinness in the bottom of a tall glass. Add 2 small scoops of  the ice cream, pour 1 oz. of chocolate syrup over the top, then stir to combine. Finish with 3 additional oz. of Guinness and top with 1/2 oz. of tawny port.

Note: Ice Cream Bar uses their own caramelized-honey ice cream, but you can sub in any honey ice cream or vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of honey.
