Bulletin Place Cocktail: Dante’s Peak


In this cocktail from Bulletin Place in Sydney, cherry liqueur and fresh citrus brighten the bold pairing of scotch whisky and Campari.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. blended scotch whisky (Spector uses Johnny Walker Black)
  • 2/3 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz. Campari
  • 1/2 oz. fresh orange juice
  • 2 tsp. Cherry Heering
  • 2 tsp. simple syrup (1:1)
  • Chilled soda water
  • Tools:shaker
  • Glass:Collins
  • Garnish:orange slice and cherry

Preparation

Combine all the ingredients except the soda water in a shaker and shake with a single ice cube until the cube melts. Add 1 oz. of chilled soda to the shaker and pour into an ice-filled glass, adding more soda if needed. Garnish.
