Boukman Daiquiri

A modern Daiquiri with a taste of the Caribbean mixed with a hint of Cognac and cinnamon spice.

Named in homage to Boukman Dutty, the Haitian priest who helped launch the island nation’s revolution in 1791, this modern daiquiri offers a subtle taste of the Caribbean mixed with a hint of Cognac and cinnamon spice.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. white rum
  • 1/2 oz. Cognac
  • 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 oz. cinnamon syrup
  • Tools:shaker, strainer
  • Glass:coupe
  • Garnish:lime wedge

Preparation

Combine all ingredients with ice and shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish.
