A modern classic with Cynar, sweet vermouth, lemon and orange bitters.
First featured on an early menu at the Violet Hour in Chicago, Stephen Cole’s Bitter Giuseppe cocktail has become a modern classic, with iterations popping up on menus at places like Cure in New Orleans and Elske and Ludlow Liquors in Chicago.
Stir all the ingredients together in a mixing glass with ice until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over a single large ice cube and garnish.
