Taking inspiration from cocktail history in New Orleans and Washington, D.C., this Absinthe Rickey is a tale of two cities.


  • 2 oz. absinthe (Kubler Swiss absinthe is recommended)
  • 1/2 oz. white créme de menthe (such as Tempus Fugit menthe glaciale)
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz. club soda
  • Tools:barspoon
  • Glass:Collins
  • Garnish:grated cinnamon


Build the drink in a Collins glass over crushed ice. Stir to combine, then garnish.
