After taking America’s coffee shops by storm, oat milk has started its crossover into the cocktail world, and with creamy drinks like the Oat Milk & Honey cocktail from The Spaniard taking the lead, the future for the ingredient is bright.
1 ½ oz. bourbon
¼ oz. crème de cacao
2 oz. cold-brew coffee
1 oz. oat milk
½ oz. honey syrup (1:1)
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: sprinkle of ground coffee
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker tin with ice and shake until chilled. Prepare a collins glass by filling halfway with crushed ice. Strain contents of shaker tin into the glass, add more ice and garnish.
