This Daiquiri riff gets a swift kick of bittersweetness thanks to the addition of Campari.
1½ oz. aged rhum agricole
¾ oz. fresh lime juice
½ oz. rich turbinado syrup (2:1)
¼ oz. Campari
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: black pepper
Shake the first 3 ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled glass. Slowly pour the Campari down the inside of the glass so it sinks to the bottom, then garnish with a crack of black pepper.
