St. Stephen’s Sour From Jeffrey Morgenthaler

Jeffrey MorgenthalerFrom Portland bartender Jeffrey Morgenthaler comes this delicious contrast between rich aged spirits, nutty orgeat and bright lemon juice.

1 oz. Cognac
1 oz. aged rum
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
¾ oz. orgeat
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: Collins
Garnish: lemon twist

Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker and fill with ice. Shake to chill, strain into a glass filled with crushed ice, then garnish.
