Art of the Cocktail Returns to Victoria
Mark your calendars: The 7th Art of the Cocktail takes place the weekend of October 24–25 in Victoria, BC. Festivities kick off with the Grand Tasting on Saturday, October 24, at the Crystal Gardens in downtown Victoria. This event showcases a variety of spirits and cocktails, alongside food from local restaurants and purveyors. Tip: to avoid the crowds and get early access, purchase tickets for the VIP Grand Tasting, which gives you an extra hour of token-free tasting!
Brush up on your bar skills and check out demos and seminars throughout the day on Sunday at the Parkside Hotel. Previous seminars have included Make Your Own Bitters, Rumapalooza, Cocktail Archaeology and The Spy Who Loved Whiskey. The weekend ends with a competition where bartenders from near and far get a chance to show off their skills for the title of “Best of the Pacific Northwest.”
