Art of the Cocktail Returns this October

Art of the Cocktail returns to Victoria, BC from October 22-23 to celebrate the best of cocktail culture with seminars, tastings and a bartending competition. The festival kicks off on Saturday, October 22, at the Crystal Gardens for the Grand Tasting, featuring cocktails created by local restaurants, regional distilleries and spirits brands from across the globe, plus food from some of the best chefs on the West Coast. Seminars take place both Saturday and Sunday, including Foraging for Your Cocktail, led by noted LA cocktail writer and bartender Matthew Biancaniello. The weekend ends with the Best of the Pacific Northwest Bartending Competition, where the region’s best bartenders go head-to-head, showing off their creativity behind the bar while incorporating this year’s theme of “burnt” into their cocktails.
