This Sunday, in homage to the Seahawks and the Patriots, we’ll be cracking open beers from each team’s home state—the Jack D’or saison from Massachusetts-based Pretty Things brewery and the Pike Pale Heirloom Amber Ale from Seattle’s Pike Brewing. Arguably the flagship brew for avant-gard brewery Pretty Things, the Jack D’or matches four malts with four hop varieties for a balanced brew with a sturdy backbone of bitterness. At an easy-drinking 6.5% ABV, it’ll meet its match with a big plate of wings. The Pike Pale is equally quaffable with a brisk hop bitterness calmed by a mix of four different malts. And at only 5% ABV you can keep opening them well into the fourth quarter.
