Drink of the Week: Owl’s Brew Mulling Blend Syrup

Drinking will feel a little merrier this season with the release of several new holiday-inspired flavors from Owl’s Brew. The tea syrup company teamed up with West Elm this year to release the exclusive line of festive flavors, including Christmas Cracker and Toast & Tea. Our favorite of the bunch is the Mulling Blend, a white tea-based mix animated with cranberry, apple cider and a host of spices. A crisp cranberry edge and soft sweetness makes it equally delicious when served hot or cold—pour it over ice, top it with club soda, or spike it with your favorite spirit—the crew at Owl’s Brew likes to shake it as a cocktail and serve over ice, with a mix of 2 parts mulling blend, 1 part aged rum and 2 drops of orange bitters. The line is sold at West Elm locations around the country, so call your local shop to see if it’s in stock.
