Drink of the Week: Devils Backbone Cranberry Gose

devil's backbone cranberry gose

Hundreds of pounds of puréed cranberry build the backbone for today’s Drink of the Week: a tangy, light-bodied German-style sour from Devils Backbone Brewing Company. The gose style has risen in popularity over the past few years, and many breweries are experimenting with new fruit additions. Devils Backbone Cranberry Gose is surprisingly subtle and clocks in at an easygoing 4% ABV. It’s a seasonal release, available only through the end of April, so be sure to seek it out on the East Coast while it’s still on shelves. And if you’re not into the trademark salty goodness of gose, check out our spring beer roundup to see what other brews we’re sipping this season.
