Frostbite: A Holiday Painkiller

A Painkiller for the holidays.
Mauro Hernandez, bartender of Strong Water in Anaheim, California, transforms the tropical Painkiller cocktail into a holiday sipper with rich créme de cacao and cooling Branca Menta.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 oz. overproof rum
- 3/4 oz. Branca Menta
- 1/4 oz. creme de cacao
- 1/4 oz. demerara syrup (1:1)
- 1 oz. Coco Lopez
- 3/4 oz. fresh orange juice
- 3/4 oz. pineapple juice
- Tools:shaker, strainer
- Glass:Mai Tai
- Garnish:chocolate shavings
Preparation
Add all of the ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into the glass over a large ice cube. Garnish.
