Topanga Canyon

Berries, booze and a few sprigs of fresh mint make up this summery spritzer from The Bungalow in Santa Monica.

2 oz. white rum
5 fresh raspberries
1 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
10-12 fresh mint leaves
Club soda
Tools: shaker, muddler, strainer
Glass: rocks
Garnish: fresh raspberry and mint bouquet

In a shaker, gently muddle the mint and raspberries. Add the remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into an ice-filled glass, top with soda to taste and garnish.
