This Daiquiri from Jeff “Beachbum” Berry’s new tiki outpost in New Orleans is the key to taking the edge off that Big Easy heat.
2 oz. white rum
¾ oz. fresh lime juice
¾ oz. fresh orange juice
½ oz. vanilla syrup
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: edible orchid (sub with a lime wheel if you don’t have an orchid)
Shake ingredients together in a shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
