Goldmine Aperitif Cocktail

In this aperitif cocktail, vodka and pineapple “share a depth of flavor without feeling heavy, while the robust Cocchi Americano and its own ‘pineapple-ness’ fills in around the edges,” says bar director Tom Lindstedt. “Lemon keeps it from getting cloying. It’s lush, like a gold mine with a sun roof.”

1 oz. vodka
¾ oz. Cocchi Americano
¾ oz. pineapple juice
½ oz. fresh lemon juice
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: rocks
Garnish: lemon slice
