The earthy aromatics of turmeric pair perfectly with fresh carrot juice in this vibrant cocktail.
2 oz. turmeric-infused vodka
1 oz. carrot juice
¾ oz. honey
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: celery stick
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a glass over fresh ice and garnish.
Turmeric-infused vodka: Combine 1 stick of fresh turmeric, chopped, with one 750-ml. bottle of vodka. Infuse for about 24 hours and check to taste, leaving to infuse longer if desired. Strain and rebottle.
