Brandy is the house specialty at the lobby bar of the Kimpton Marlowe in Boston, so it’s natural that Armagnac stars in this equal-parts cocktail.
¾ oz. Armagnac
¾ oz. yellow Chartreuse
¾ oz. maraschino liqueur
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: lemon twist
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice until chilled. Strain into a glass, then garnish.
