Houston bartender Alex Gregg adds a little south of the border spirit to his Texas-inspired take on a classic.
1 1/2 oz. blanco tequila
1/4 oz. agave nectar
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. soda water
Tools: shaker, strainer
Combine all ingredients, except soda water, and shake with ice. Strain over 1 large ice cube in a rocks glass and top with soda.
