There aren’t many recipes that are as simple to make and as refreshing as a classic Caipirinha cocktail, Brazil’s national drink.
1/2 a lime, cut into quarters
1–2 tsp. superfine sugar (to taste)
2 oz. cachaça
Tools: muddler, shaker
In a shaker, muddle fresh limes with sugar. Add cachaça and ice cubes and shake vigorously. Pour, unstrained, into a chilled glass.
