Summer Brews

The Imbibe kitchen is loaded with summery beer samples, so with the weather heating up, we decided to try a few of the ones we’ve been eyeing. From sessions to sours to IPAs, here are a few of our favorites, just in time for some marathon World Cup watching.

A hop-forward session brew, this beer highlights the grassy, fruit-forward Mosaic hop. It’s fresh and crisp with flavors of pineapple and grapefruit. A summer beer if we’ve ever tasted one.

Whether you’re headed to the beach or just your own backyard, this brew hits the spot with its light-bodied crispness and kiss of malts on the finish.

Say aloha to this sunny, tropical take on a mainlander’s IPA. Intermingled hops take a back seat to flavors of mango and papaya. Definitely a good intro IPA for non-IPA drinkers.

Can we call a beer pretty? Delicate and floral, soft grassy hops whisper across the palate on the finish.

Love Belgian-style brews? This golden ale from Idaho’s Grand Teton Brewing goes down nice and easy thanks to its silky carbonation and flavors of dried fruits.

San Francisco-based Anchor Brewing never disappoints, and this IPA is one for the masses thanks to its amber-like malt profile and subtle stringing of hops throughout.

This barrel-aged brew is unapologetically tart and tangy, leaving our mouths watering for that next sip.
