The Rickey Ricardo

Originally a mix of gin or bourbon, lime and seltzer, this riff on the classic Rickey cocktail takes the drink in a tropical direction with rum and Chartreuse.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. white rum
  • 1/2 oz. green Chartreuse
  • 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. agave syrup
  • 3 mint sprigs
  • Lime wedge
  • Tools:muddler, shaker, strainer
  • Glass:Collins or highball
  • Garnish:lime wheel, mint bouquet

Preparation

Muddle the mint and a large lime wedge in a shaker. Add the rum, green Chartreuse, lime juice and agave. Shake with ice, strain into an ice-filled highball glass, then garnish.
