The Last Apricot On Earth

Sweet meets tart in this botanical- and fruit-forward sipper.

 

1 oz. gin
3/4 oz. yellow Chartreuse
1/2 oz. apricot shrub
1/2 oz. maraschino liqueur
1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice (optional)
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: cocktail or coupe

 

Combine all ingredients, except lemon juice, and shake with ice. Since the shrub can vary in sweetness, taste the cocktail and add lemon juice to taste, if desired. Strain into a chilled glass.
