Sudachi Sour

A contemporary version of the Pisco Sour.

Sudachi makes a great addition to classic lime-based cocktails like the Margarita, Daiquiri, or this contemporary version of the Pisco Sour. “Sudachi boasts a lot of intense flavors,” says northern California bartender Scott Beattie, “so you don’t need a lot of it for the complexity to shine through.”

 

Ingredients

  • Tools:shaker, strainer
  • Glass:sour
  • Garnish:3 drops of Angostura bitters

Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except ice, and dry shake for 30 seconds. Add ice and shake again until the mixing tin is frosty. Strain into a sour glass and garnish.
