Fresh ginger adds extra zing to this tequila-spiked slushie.
3 cups strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup fresh ginger, roughly chopped
1/2 cup water
10 oz. blanco tequila
1 cup fresh lime juice
1 cup agave nectar
4 cups ice cubes
Tools: blender, fine mesh strainer
Glass: rocks
Blend strawberries, ginger and water in a blender. Strain out the solids, add the rest of the ingredients and blend. Pour into glasses. Serves 6.
