This Garden Party cocktail is a Mojito riff made for lounging in the backyard on a warm summer day. Pair with a hammock and a book and you’ve got the perfect lazy afternoon.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. green Chartreuse
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
4-5 fresh mint leaves
2 1/2 oz. club soda

Tools:muddler, shaker, strainer
Glass:highball
Garnish:mint sprig

Preparation

Add the mint, lime juice and simple syrup to a shaker and muddle lightly. Add ice and the Chartreuse and shake until chilled. Strain into ice-filled glasses, top with club soda and garnish.
