Ransom Notes by Bad Birdy: A Grapefruit Gin Sour

For a taste of destination bar Kuduowl, shake up its grapefruit-forward gin sour.

This grapefruit-forward gin sour was one of the first cocktails that Bad Birdy created. It can still be found under the “Memoirs” section of Imbibe 75’s Kuduowl cocktail menu.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. Old Tom gin
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. grapefruit liqueur
1/2 oz. honey syrup (1:1)

Tools:shaker, strainer, fine strainer
Glass:coupe
Garnish:grapefruit twist, cherry

Preparation

Shake all of the ingredients with ice and double strain into a chilled glass. Express a grapefruit twist over the drink, then use the twist as a garnish along with a cherry.
