Old Grand-Dad’s Furnace
Come in from the cold to a hot spiked cider. Here, sweet apple cider and bourbon get more festive from the addition of clove, cinnamon and demerara syrup.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. bourbon
- 5 oz. hot apple cider
- 1/8 oz. demerara syrup (1:1)
- 1 clove
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Tools:saucepan, spoon
- Glass:mug or punch
- Garnish:cinnamon stick
Preparation
Combine all ingredients except the bourbon in a small saucepan over low heat until warmed through. Pour into a mug and add the bourbon.
