Oaxacan Dead, A Tequila Zombie

The classic Zombie gets an earthy update thanks to the addition of tequila and mezcal.

Ingredients

3/4 oz. reposado tequila
3/4 oz. aged Jamaican rum
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. velvet falernum
1/2 oz. Donn's mix (1:1 grapefruit juice to cinnamon syrup)
1 tsp. mezcal
1 tsp. grenadine
1 dash Angostura bitters

Tools:shaker, strainer
Glass:decorative mug
Garnish:mint sprig, grapefruit twist, fresh grated cinnamon and cherry

Preparation

Add all of the the ingredients to a shaker and shake with one ice cube. Pour over crushed ice into a mug, then garnish.
