Ingredients

  • 3 cups coconut milk
  • 1 cup coconut yogurt
  • 2 to 3 pears, cored and coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. black sesame seeds or paste, plus extra seeds for garnish
  • 3 tsp. matcha powder
  • 2 large handfuls of ice cubes
  • Tools:blender
  • Glass:glasses or large pitcher
  • Garnish:toasted coconut flakes and black sesame seeds

Preparation

Mix the matcha powder and maple syrup together in a small cup to form a smooth paste-like mixture with no lumps. Add the remaining ingredients to a blender, then pour the matcha mix over the top and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses or a large pitcher to serve and top with coconut flakes and more black sesame seeds.
