Mary Celeste mezcal cocktail

The nutty sweetness of orgeat rounds out bitter amaro and tart lime juice in this mezcal cocktail from Travis Parsley, lead bartender of The National Bar in Nevada City.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. mezcal
3/4 oz. bitter aperitivo liqueur
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. orgeat

Tools:shaker, strainer
Glass:rocks
Garnish:dehydrated lemon wheel

Preparation

Add all of the ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake to chill and strain over fresh ice in a glass. Garnish.
