A vibrant blend of herbaceous and fruity flavors.

This gin and génépy cocktail from Tell Your Friends in Scottsdale, Arizona, balances a botanical base with the vegetal notes of red bell pepper and the sweetness of raspberries.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. gin
1/2 oz. génépy
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz. red bell pepper syrup
1/4 oz. raspberry syrup

Tools:shaker, strainer
Glass:Collins
Garnish:mint, raspberries, and dehydrated blood orange

Preparation

Muddle the raspberries in a shaker and add the rest of the ingredients with ice. Shake and strain into the glass over ice.
Red Bell Pepper SyrupDe-seed and de-vein 1 red bell pepper and cut into chunks or slivers. Juice the red bell pepper and fine-strain out the the solids. Measure and combine equal parts red bell pepper juice to sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
