A cooling cucumber cocktail.

If anyone knows how cool down an especially hot day, it’s the bartenders at Tell Your Friends in Scottsdale, Arizona. “When I was creating the Green with Envy, the goal was to make something super refreshing and light,” says beverage director Ashley Cibor. Goal achieved with this aloe and cucumber cocktail. “It’s basically a boozy spa water.”

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. vodka
1 1/2 oz. cucumber syrup (2 parts cucumber juice, 1 part white cane sugar)
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. Chareau aloe liqueur
1/4 oz. rich simple syrup

Tools:shaker, strainer, fine-mesh strainer
Glass:Collins
Garnish:cucumber ribbon, mint, dehydrated (or fresh)lime wheel

Preparation

Wrap a cucumber ribbon along the inside of the glass, fill the glass with crushed ice, and set it aside. Add all of the ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake to chill and double strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a mint bouquet and dehydrated lime wheel.
