The perfect sipper for a crisp autumn night.

For this aromatic bourbon cocktail, Baltimore’s Order of Ace gets booze-forward inspiration from the Old Fashioned and Manhattan, making for the perfect autumn nightcap.

Ingredients

1 oz. bourbon
3/4 oz. Spanish sweet vermouth
3/4 oz. Nixta corn liqueur
1/2 oz. Oaxacan rum
3/4 tsp. crème de noyaux (or amaretto)
3 drops saline solution

Tools:mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
Glass:rocks
Garnish:caramel corn

Preparation

Add all of the ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir to chill. Strain into the glass. Garnish.
NOTEIf you can’t find an Oaxacan rum with a vegetal profile, like Cañada or Tso’ok, drink creator Mark Mentzel suggests using a corn-based white dog, such as Buffalo Trace Mash #1 or Stillhouse Original.
