A nightcap that took a tropical holiday vacation.

With hints of chocolate and banana layered against a rich, flavorful Jamaican rum, this Old Fashioned variation drinks like a nightcap that took a tropical holiday vacation.

Ingredients

  • 2 1⁄2 oz. aged Jamaican rum
  • 1⁄4 oz. crème de cacao
  • 1⁄4 oz. banana liqueur
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Tools:barspoon
  • Glass:Old Fashioned
  • Garnish:orange twist, cherry

Preparation

Add all of the ingredients to an Old Fashioned glass holding a large ice cube. Stir twice, twist an orange peel over the drink, then garnish.
