This once-forgotten gin classic comes from the UK Bartender’s Guild 1931 tome, the Café Royal Cocktail Book.

 

2 oz. gin
1 oz. dry sherry
1/2 oz. Curaçao
1/2 oz. apricot syrup
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: cocktail

 

Combine all ingredients, shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass.
