Hidden World

Bright and tropical.

The Hidden World employs the complementary qualities of mezcal and aquavit to ground flavors of mango, ginger, and vanilla.

Ingredients

1 oz. mezcal (D&C uses Del Maguey Santo Domingo Albarradas)
1 oz. aquavit (D&C uses Krogstad)
¾ oz. fresh lime juice
½ oz. vanilla syrup
2 tsp. mango puree
1 tsp. ginger syrup
1 dash saline solution (1:5)

Tools:shaker, strainer
Glass:double Old Fashioned
Garnish:lime wheel

Preparation

Add all ingredients to an ice-filled shaker, then shake until combined. Strain the cocktail over one large ice cube in a double Old Fashioned glass. Garnish.
