This combo of sherry, gin, soda water and a tart, mixed berry shrub couldn’t be more refreshing.

2 oz. amontillado sherry
3/4 oz. dry gin
3/4 oz. mixed berry shrub
1 oz. club soda
Tools: barspoon
Glass: rocks
Garnish: lemon peel

Combine the sherry, gin, and shrub in a rocks glass over ice and gently stir. Top with club soda and stir to combine. Garnish.

Mixed berry shrub: Combine 1 cup of cane sugar sugar with 1 cup of berries. Let sit for at least 4 hours. Add 4 oz. of sherry vinegar and 4 oz. of red wine vinegar and stir to dissolve the sugar. Strain and store in the fridge until use. Will keep for at least 1 month.
