Amaro Spritz: Bollicine

If you like your spritzes especially dry and bitter, try this recipe combining two types of Italian amari with sparkling wine and bitters.

Ingredients

  • ¾ oz. Amaro Montenegro
  • ¾ oz. Cynar
  • 3-4 dashes grapefruit bitters
  • 3 oz prosecco, or other sparkling wine
  • Tools:barspoon
  • Glass:wine
  • Garnish:thin grapefruit slice

Preparation

Combine both kinds of amari and bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Stir to chill, then strain into a wine glass over fresh ice. Top with sparkling wine
