Baby Steps Cocktail

Consider this cocktail your baby step to a more bracingly bitter Negroni.

1 oz. gin
1 oz. Aperol
1 oz. sweet vermouth
Tools: mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
Glass: cocktail

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir with ice to chill. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with a lemon peel.
