Bananas and blackberries combine with great effect in this vodka cocktail from Crudo in Phoenix.
Ingredients
- 1½ oz. vodka
- ½ oz. banana liqueur (Crudo uses Giffard)
- ¾ oz. fresh lime juice
- ¼ oz. ginger syrup (1:1 fresh-juiced ginger and granulated sugar)
- ½ oz. simple syrup (1:1)
- 3 fresh blackberries
- Tools:shaker, muddler, strainer, fine strainer
- Glass:rocks
- Garnish:fresh blackberry and a lime wheel
Preparation
Muddle the blackberries in a shaker tin. Add the remaining ingredients and shake with ice, then fine strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish.
