Former Pearl & Ash sommelier (and 2014 Imbibe 75 Wine Person of the Year) Patrick Cappiello has a thing for punk and metal bands, and as reflected by his frequently donned T-shirts. We asked Cappiello to put together a playlist that he could listen to night after night, and he didn’t hesitate. “I love punk rock and metal,” he says. “They represent who I am, and the spirit of the wines that I love–counter-culture individuals that don’t believe in conforming or selling out. Life is too short to be a square.”
