A complex cast of characters unfold in this gin cocktail.
Something a little different for gin drinkers, this complex cocktail is anchored by a juniper-forward gin, while yellow Chartreuse adds an herbaceous edge and sloe gin and white port lend fruity layers. “This is a stirred drink served up, so after time it will warm up a bit,” says former GreenRiver beverage director Julia Momose. “The ingredients taste very different when cold than when at room temperature, so the name plays off that idea. It’ll change as you drink it.”
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled and strain into a Nick and Nora glass. Garnish.
