Who doesn’t love a good whiskey cocktail made for warm-weather sipping? This one gets an especially summery lift from a thyme-honey syrup and crushed ice.
Combine the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a glass over crushed ice. Garnish.
Thyme-Honey Syrup:
1 cup hot water
1 cup honey
5 sprigs of thyme
Steep the thyme in hot water for 15 minutes. Stir in the honey. Strain the thyme out of mixture, then store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
