Drink of the Week: Dogfish Head Grateful Dead Juicy Pale Ale

We love a good collab, especially when it involves two iconic and beloved brands. Such is the case with Grateful Dead Juicy Pale Ale, what Dogfish Head perfectly describes as the “ultimate collaboration of off-centeredness and musical exploration.”

Dogfish Head and the Grateful Dead first started partnering back in 2013 and have crafted a few iterations of beers over the years, but at the beginning of 2025, they launched perhaps their best track yet with this pale ale.

Brewed with sustainable Kernza grains, granola, and plenty of good karma, Grateful Dead Juicy Pale is a 5.3% ABV light-bodied beer that’s approachable, yet complex. The addition of El Dorado and Azacca hops adds layers of tropical pineapple, mango, and passion fruit and a light bitterness in the flavor.
