Quite Smashed

Minty-fresh with a tart tang, this warm-weather refresher will keep you cool all summer long.

10-12 fresh mint sprigs
4-5 1-inch cubes fresh pineapple
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
1/2 oz. green Chartreuse
1 1/2 oz. cachaça
Tools: muddler, shaker, strainer, fine-strainer
Glass: rocks
Garnish: bouquet of fresh mint

In a shaker, gently muddle the mint. Add the pineapple cubes and gently muddle again. Add the remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Fine-strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish.
