Garden Variety Margarita

Nothing complements virtue quite like vice, and so it is no surprise that kale juice and tequila make for a wickedly sippable combo.

2 oz. blanco tequila
¾ oz. ginger-kale juice (or store-bought green juice)
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. agave
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: rocks
Garnish: candied ginger

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake to combine and strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.

For the ginger-kale juice: Run three large kale leaves and a one-inch knob of ginger through a juicer.
