A Tour of Stumptown New Orleans - Imbibe Magazine Subscribe + Save

Located in a former carriage house in the up-and-coming Warehouse District, Stumptown New Orleans opens this week in the new Ace Hotel. NYC-based Roman and Williams designed the café, which isn’t far from other popular spots like Balise and Herbsaint. This is Stumptown’s first retail location in the South, and they’re clearly taking the climate into consideration with an emphasis on drinks made with cold brew. In addition to traditional hot drinks, new offerings include the Arnold Palmer-like “Duane Sorensen,” named after the company’s founder, and the Endless Summer, a cold brew-fueled version of a Mint Julep. Many of the new drinks are made using the “cold shot,” or cold brew served from Nitro taps. Check out the gallery above for a sneak peek.
