Mai Ta-IPA

mai ta-IPAThis updated Mai Tai features hoppy IPA for a “touch of complexity” and a “nice frothy head,” says bartender Jacob Grier, author of Cocktails on Tap.

1  1/2 oz. IPA
1 oz. aged rum
1 oz. light rum
1 oz. fresh lime juice
3/4 oz. orgeat
1/2 oz. orange Curacao
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: Collins
Garnish: Luxardo cherries

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into an ice-filled rocks or Collins glass. Garnish with the cherries.
